1. Who we are

Water From Air Review is an independent publisher of reviews and educational content about home water security and DIY atmospheric water generation. We are not the seller of any product reviewed here.

You can read this entire website without giving us anything. We only receive personal information when you choose to send it, for example when you email us a question, submit a build report or measured output figures, or subscribe to updates. In those cases we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.

Like almost every website, our host and analytics record technical information when you visit:

• IP address, in whole or truncated form

• Pages viewed, time on page and the order in which pages were visited
• The referring website or search that brought you here

2.3 What we never collect

We do not collect payment card numbers, bank details or purchase records, because purchases happen entirely on the seller's platform. We do not knowingly collect sensitive categories of personal data such as health, biometric, religious or political information.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

3.1 Types in use

• Strictly necessary: keep the site secure and functioning, and remember basic preferences such as a dismissed notice.
• Analytics: count visits and page views in aggregate so we know which reviews are useful.
• Referral tracking: set by the seller and its payment processor when you click through to their site, so the visit can be credited.

3.2 Referral cookies belong to the seller

When you click a link to a seller, that seller and its processor may place cookies on your device and process data under their own privacy policies. We do not control those cookies and we do not receive your personal purchase information from them, only aggregate reporting about referred sales.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and most browsers offer a private browsing mode and a setting to reject third party cookies. Blocking analytics or referral cookies does not stop you using this website or purchasing from any seller.

We do not use your information for automated decision making that has a legal effect on you, and we do not build advertising profiles about you.

We respond within 30 days, or within 45 days for requests under California law, and we may ask for information to verify your identity before acting. An authorised agent may submit a request on your behalf with written proof of authorisation.

9.3 Complaints

If you are unhappy with our response, you may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority or, in the United States, your state attorney general.

10. Do Not Track and global privacy signals

There is no common industry standard for honouring Do Not Track browser headers. Because we do not sell or share personal information or serve behavioural advertising, no opt out signal is required for that purpose. Where a recognised global privacy control signal is received, we treat it as an objection to non essential analytics cookies.

11. Children's privacy

This website is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Third party websites

This site links to websites we do not operate, including sellers and payment processors. Their privacy practices are their own, and we encourage you to read their policies before submitting information or completing a purchase.
